75 Hour Real Estate Sales Person's License Course
This is the New Jersey approved 75 hour pre-licensure program to prepare qualified individuals to become a legal real estate sales agent. Real estate agents help people buy property, sell property, or rent property. Agents talk with clients to find out what kind of property they want and what they are willing to sell or pay, and any specific amenities they are seeking. They work with a real estate broker to find properties that suit their client's needs and perform duties, such as study property listings, interview prospective clients, accompany clients to property sites, discuss conditions of sale, and draw up real estate contracts. This course will cover everything one needs to pass the New Jersey Real Estate Commission state exam. Successful program completers will be awarded an NJCU Certificate of Completion.
Topics covered include
• License Law
• Forms of Ownership
• Landlord and Tenant
• Listing Agreements
• Ethical and Fair Housing Issues
• NJ Real Estate Commission Rules
• Agency and Brokerage
• Closing of Title
