NPTNJ Online Application

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY: Students can only apply after they have completed the 50-hour Introduction to Teaching course AND have the following documents ready to include in their application:

  1. An official transcript with a cumulative 2.75 GPA (if you graduated prior to September 2016) or a 3.0 GPA (if you graduated after September 2016) or higher from a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.(Official transcripts must arrive at NJCU in a sealed envelope, or via email, from the institution from which you are making the request.)
  2. A copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (CE).
  3. Verification of Completion from 50-hour Introduction to Teaching class.
  4. A letter of employment from the hiring manager or administrator on letterhead from your school or school district. Employment as a classroom teacher is required for participation in the program.
