How to Register

There are several ways to register for Adult and Continuing Education classes and programs. (Please note that these programs fill quickly, so be sure to register as early as possible.)

REGISTER ONLINE:

Visit www.njcu.edu/continuing-education to enroll in a non-credit class and begin your path to lifelong learning at NJCU, where classes, workshops, and seminars are available to help build your career and enrich your life. Enrollment is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Since class sizes are limited to ensure a high-quality experience, we advise applicants to submit completed registration forms with full payment to Adult and Continuing Education at least one week prior to the start of class.

Payment must be made by check or money order. Checks or money orders must be made payable to New Jersey City University. All credit card payments must be paid online through Touchnet Information Systems. Cash will not be accepted for payment.

No additional enrollment confirmation will be provided in addition to your payment receipt; however, please note that you will be notified in the event of a course, workshop, or seminar cancellation.

REGISTER BY MAIL:

Download a Registration Form that you may mail to us with your check or money order to:

Adult and Continuing Education
New Jersey City University
2039 John F. Kennedy Blvd.
Jersey City, NJ 07305

In Person: Submit a completed registration form with full payment for the course(s). As courses fill up quickly, walk-in registrations are discouraged.

Team Registration: A 10% discount is available to agencies sending three or more employees. (Please mail registrations together and deduct 10% from your payment.)

PAYMENT / WITHDRAWAL / REFUNDS

Full payment must be received by the registration deadline for each Adult and Continuing Education class.

Non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal. Refunds will not be made on this basis. Those wishing to receive a full refund must complete and submit a withdrawal form, available at the Adult and Continuing Education office, three days prior to the first class session. Those who do not drop a course three days prior to the first class session will incur a 50% charge of the course price. There is no refund for withdrawal from a course on or after the start date of the course.

CANCELLATIONS

Adult and Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel courses. We will make our best effort to cancel a course one week prior to the first class session, but we reserve the right to cancel up to one week after the first class session. In the event of a cancellation, those registered for the non-credit course will receive a 100% refund.

CERTIFICATE PRINTING AND REPLACEMENT

Please be advised that certificate printing and replacement can take up to 6-8 weeks to process. New Jersey City University is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen certificates. For a replacement, complete the Certificate Replacement Form. There is a $10.00 fee per certificate and you can order up to 5 certificates.
