Scholarship Applications

Each scholarship has specific requirements which must be followed.

Please read guidelines on the application and submit all required materials. Students may apply for multiple scholarships, but can receive only one per year. Each recipient will have the award added to their Gothicnet account.

 

Available to all Art Majors
Dr.s Robert and Helen Russell Endowed Art Fund

  • Up to $1,000 will be awarded
  • Provides financial support for students in the Art Program.

Available to all Art Majors
Friends of Art and Music Scholarship

  • Up to $1,000 will be awarded
  • To a student who exhibits artistic excellence

Available to Students of Art or Photography
Tom Reiss Scholarship

  • Up to $1,000 will be awarded.
  • This scholarship is available to a student in art or photography.

For Students in Illustration or Graphic Design
Dr. Esther B. Barish Endowed Art Scholarship

  • Up to $2,000 will be awarded.
  • This scholarship is awarded annually to an art student specializing in commercial and graphic design.

Available to Freshman and Sophomore Art Majors (at time of application)
Sister Joan Steans Scholarship

  • Up to $1,000 will be awarded
  • This scholarship is given annually to a full-time sophomore or junior art major that is in good academic standing, and who demonstrates persistence, promise and drive.

Available to Sophomore and Junior Art Majors (at time of application)
Ben Jones Scholarship

  • Up to $1,000 will be awarded.
  • The Ben Jones Scholarship is available to juniors and seniors (at time of application) actively creating work that focuses on issues of social consciousness.

Available to Sophomore and Junior Art Majors (at time of application)
Herbert S. Rosenberg Endowed Scholarship

  • Up to $1,000 will be awarded.
  • This scholarship is available to BFA sophomores and juniors (at time of application) from any concentration.

Available to Art Teacher Certification Students
Gertrude Morses Scholarship

  • Up to $2,000 will be awarded.
  • To a qualified student currently seeking Art Teacher Certification.
