Social Work & Sociology Club

The Social Work & Sociology Club seeks to enhance the experiences and development of students interested in sociology and social issues at New Jersey City University. The Social Work & Sociology Club provides opportunities for students to network with each other, faculty, the wider University and community. Through experiential learning, students will gain knowledge and skills related to sociology and social issues. The Social Work & Sociology Club will encourage members to engage with and support each other. Additionally, the Social Work & Sociology Club will facilitate professional development opportunities for members.

The purpose of the Social Work & Sociology Club is:

  1. To provide opportunities for students to network with each other, faculty, the wider University and community.
  2. To provide experiential learning for students to gain knowledge and skills related to sociology and social issues.
  3. To provide encouragement for members to engage with and support each other.
  4. To provide professional development opportunities for members.
