The Spanish Minor consists of an 18-credit sequence that includes three required courses on composition, culture, and literature, and three elective courses.
This minor can complement any major concentration offered at NJCU. Spanish language skills and familiarity with the culture of Hispanic countries can increase your career opportunities in numerous fields: communications and media, translation and interpretation, public relations, business, education, etc. There are many professional and personal advantages in increasing your linguistic and intercultural skills, especially when studying the most spoken language in the Americas and the second most spoken in the US.
