2021 LATI Colloquium Call for Papers:
The NJCU Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies announces the 2021 LATI Colloquium, to be held in a hybrid virtual and in-person format on Thursday, April 1. Each year, the Colloquium highlights scholarly and creative work of faculty, students, and staff from NJCU and from other colleges and universities in the area. We also welcome participation by the larger community, including members representing specific community organizations.
The Center welcomes proposals for any scholarly or creative work relating to Latin America, the Caribbean, and Latinx communities in the United States. You can submit a proposal for an individual paper, poster, artwork, performance, or other format, or you can propose a panel, exhibit, or performance with multiple participants.
If you had a presentation or panel accepted for the 2020 LATI Colloquium, which was cancelled due to COVID-19, your work will automatically be accepted for the 2021 Colloquium, but we ask that you re-submit your proposal on Colloquium submission portal so that we can have consistent information about all 2021 presentations and panels.
Please submit your proposal, including a one-paragraph abstract of not more than 150 words, at the Colloquium submission portal at https://njcu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9BNjafOjt12XVWt by Monday, February 1, 2021. Proposers will be notified by March 1 whether their work has been accepted or not.
