NJCU’s History walking tours NJCU’s History walking tours are a chance for organizations, private groups, schools, or companies to hire an expert New York City historian to personally lead your group on a tour of their choice. They feature the original research of Dr. Tim White, a tenured NJCU history professor with eighteen years of experience leading academic tours of NYC.

He wrote the “Metropolitan NY” history course for NJCU, teaches it every semester, and has also published a book on NYC history with Penn Press. Tour options include Washington Hts., Harlem, Morningside Hts./Columbia, Upper West Side, Central Park, Times Square, Greenwich Village, Chinatown & Little Italy, Lower East Side, Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Hts., and Downtown Jersey City.
