Dr. Vanashri Nargund Selected as NJ STEM Month 2020 Educator of the Year

NJCU Associate Professor Vanashri Nargund has been selected as the NJ STEM Month 2020 Educator of the Year.

This honor highlights an extraordinary educator who has gone above and beyond to successfully improve STEM learning outcomes for New Jersey’s students. Dr. Nargund was nominated for this honor and selected from a very competitive pool of educators.

From Dr. Nargun's impact as a leader of the Liberty STEM Alliance, to work conducting STEM activities for young children in Jersey City, to the edited book publication “Science Education in India” and starting The Parent Academy, a platform for parents, families, caregivers, and educators to get informed scientific ways of teaching, Professor Nargun's tireless commitment to the New Jersey STEM community truly made an impact in the state.
