Workforce Development
We launched the NJCU Center for Workforce and Community Development through a partnership with JPMorganChase, the Walmart Foundation and the Office of the Mayor of Jersey City to boost local labor market deficiencies and increase access to employment opportunities for workers. Whether your company focuses on maritime, IT, healthcare or logistics, we have programs to increase your employees’ skills.
Customized Training
Attract and keep great employees and train them to help take your business to the next level. We can work on developing hard skills like strategic planning—or enhancing soft skills such as emotional intelligence. NJCU’s Professional Education and Lifelong Learning unit can work with you to tailor something just right for your company.
Small Business Development Center
The Hudson County Small Business Development Center at New Jersey City University helps the local small-business community with free educational and business resources to help finance, market and manage companies.
Degree Programs
We offer academic programs that can help your employees—or you—get the in-depth knowledge and skills needed to advance in your field. Many of our programs can be completed online or have schedules to meet the needs of working professionals. Plus, if you are a NJ Chamber of Commerce member and enroll in one of our School of Business graduate programs, you are eligible for a scholarship.
