Ashley N. Doughty

The shy and quiet student in high school, Ashley always kept her head in the books. She was never the first to speak in public and struggled to give presentations. When time came to choose a college, Ashley felt welcomed at NJCU, like it was her home away from home. Math was always her favorite subject, so she pursued a mathematics degree. NJCU helped Ashley became social and confident, when she realized she was no longer afraid to stand up in front of a room full of people. Now, Ashley will go on to teach children math.
