At the NJCU School of Business, we believe innovative ideas come from fresh viewpoints. Graduate and undergraduate students alike are valued members of our research team. The Business and Economics Research Committee organizes student research showcases to provide a platform where students present their research and compete for prizes.
How to participate in the oral competition?
- Step 1: Submit a research abstract by May 7, 2024
- Step 2: Submit presentation slides by May 12, 2024
- Step 3: Present your research at the competition on May 14, 2024.
How to participate in the poster competition?
- Step 1: Submit your poster by May 7, 2024
- Step 2: Answer questions on your poster (no presentation is required)

The Business & Economics Research Committee winners of the 11th Spring 2023 Research Showcase Competition, which recognizes outstanding research projects completed by NJCU business students:
- 1st place: Devin Echavarria - mentored by Dr. EunSu Lee
"Efficiency Evaluation of New Jersey Universities: A Data Envelopment Analysis" - 2nd place: Jake Sisk - mentored by Dr. Lauren Johnson
"The Impact of Technology on Fan Engagement in Sports"
All entries presented engaging research topics that led to illuminating projects.
