System Availability Message

This page provides information on planned system maintenance and outages.

Holiday Break - University Offices are closed

The University offices will be closed Thursday, December 25, 2025 through Friday, January 2, 2026. During this period, the GothicNet Portal and its associated applications will remain available. If you experience any technical difficulties while offices are closed, please email us at helpdesk@njcu.edu, and we will address it once the University re-opens on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Production Environments:
Please be advised that the GothicNet Portal and its associated applications (including Campus Solutions, Financials, Human Resources, etc.) may be intermittently unavailable during off-hours and weekends due to necessary maintenance.

If you have any questions, please contact the IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@njcu.edu and the Application Security Team at pssecurity@njcu.edu.

Development and Test Environments: 
The PeopleSoft DEV and TEST environments may be offline for maintenance from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on weekdays, and also during off-hours and weekends.

IMPORTANT:
The Google Chrome Browser is recommended for optimal performance when using GothicNet. Please see a complete list of other recommended browsers. Please do not forget to delete your browser cache before logging in.
