About Jazz Studies

NJCU's Jazz program's world renowned faculty will prepare you to become a leader in the industry by providing a challenging, collaborative education. Students will perform in a variety of styles of jazz in ensembles, combos, and recitals. Our proximity to New York City and some of the most famous venues in the world extends our educational opportunities off campus as well.

In addition to acceptance to NJCU, all Music students must audition for placement in the major. We offer rolling auditions, please contact us to schedule an audition, or to learn more about how we can help you start your career in the music industry.
