About Residence Life

Residence Halls Are More Than Places to Sleep

They’re also places where you’ll grow. You’ll discover new things about yourself. You’ll meet and live with students from all walks of life. You’ll learn not only about cultural differences, but also about universal similarities. Residence life is a valuable part of your NJCU education and goes a long way in preparing you for your post-university life.

NJCU’s Residence Life Program provides a unique opportunity for you to be part of an on-campus community that is:

A diverse group of 3 female and 2 male students sitting and talking on a lawn on campus.

Inclusive

NJCU residence halls boast a welcoming, supportive environment where all students have the opportunity to shine and find their own voices through engagement and diversity.

Public Safety Female officers

Safe

Feel secure 24 hours a day. Residence halls are always staffed and require card access. In addition, the Department of Public Safety provides 24-hour campus security in the form of patrols and campus escort services.
