BUZZ ART is a fun, fresh, and youth magazine created by using the adobe application: InDesign. That is highlighting rising artists in the entertainment industry. This includes interviews with the artist and pictures of their work and contents and list of sources to match the feel of this magazine. Using a range of light color palette and with a minimalist approach. “BUZZ ART” combines modern and film photography, modern and handwritten typography to complement the editorial and minimalistic aesthetic feel on the inside and design by Anya Dudley.
In this magazine, I wanted to take my interest in magazines and design layout, and create a magazine about the young creatives in the entertainment industry that I am inspired by and share their work with other people. I incorporate their famous artworks that got them to where they are today. This also includes interviews about why they chose to be in the field they're in. Their interviews allow us to see why and how they are doing what they do.
I wanted to take my interests in magazines and create my own. This passion came from always reading the latest issue from teen/young adult magazines such as teen vogue/vogue, nylon, dazed, and paper magazine etc. I've always felt inspired by the things I was reading when looking at magazines and the craft behind it. It takes a crew of people to create. Community is something that is important to me and I found it in print publication design.
