Jose DeLa Rosa

The Ability to bring to life emotions and perceptions with the illusion of movement is a concept that drove Jose to be an animator. Animation has a kind of harminty to Jose, which is one of the reasons he fell in love with it. Making the possibilities of what he can bring to life are endless. Inspired by talented storytellers such as Seth MacFarlane, J.G. Quintel and Genndy Tartakovsky, who have the opportunity to make their stories come to life. That's what drives Jose's vision is to one day have his opportunity to tell his own stories and impact others with his Creative Imagination.

 

          Throughout Jose’s early years he always went back to that memory of his 6 year old self tuned in the Saturday morning cartoons, watching his favorite show Spongebob squarepants. Realizing how such a show can impact the world, including himself. It reminds him of his determination to create that same impact once again for the future generation. In his Development, towards his goals, Jose learned to observe and improve himself from a self taught process in the arts but also was willing to learn from others with years of experience. 2D Animation is a personal preference for jose, it's more artistic in his nature. The Illusion of movement that's created when individual drawings are sequenced together brings Jose's creativite to a higher level of possibilities to indore. Therefore he will use his talents to embrace it into the animation industry.

     

          This showcase will present an animated short film about perspective on anything you can imagine. The Genre is a dark comedy and Drawn in traditional animation and implemented in the medium of digital.
