The Office of Marketing and Communications develops the University’s marketing, advertising, promotions and communications to attract new students, engage alumni, and inform the NJCU community about news, events, and happenings on and around campus. The office serves as a resource for the University, and works in a consultative and collaborative way with a range of stakeholders to ensure that all messaging and design supports and exemplifies the University's mission of educational excellence.
Marketing and Communications is comprised of three areas, each of which is designed to serve as a resource for and a means of promoting the priorities of the University:
The Media Relations team works with leadership, faculty and staff to develop and promote news of the University. In addition, the team interacts with members of the media to share news and stories, and to serve as a liaison for journalists seeking faculty subject matter experts on a range of discipline-specific topics. For media inquiries, contact NJCU Media Relations at 201-200-3425 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Office of Communications produces and distributes content across a range of media on behalf of internal and external stakeholders—from print to digital publications, including New Jersey City University Magazine, the magazine for alumni and friends of the University, as well as website updates, social media, and email campaigns.
Faculty and staff may send news items, including professional accomplishments, conference presentations, awards and recognitions, white papers, publications, and research to email@example.com. News may be featured within the magazine, on the NJCU website, and on NJCU's social media channels.
The Marketing and Creative Services team provides graphic design services for advertising and promotion, website, events, signage, and special projects. For all project requests, please complete our Project Request Form.
Marketing and Communications is equipped to provide video and photographic services for key University events and initiatives. Requests for a photographer or videographer may be made by sending your request to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are happy to work with stakeholders to arrange for freelance resources as necessary.
