Vision Statement

The Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management seeks to become a recognized leader in higher education by providing a comprehensive array of essential services and engagement opportunities to our diverse student population, so they can succeed and create meaningful lives.

Mission Statement

The NJCU Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (SAEM) advances the learning and personal growth of students by providing leadership, services, and opportunities that enable students to succeed in and contribute to a global society.

SAEM provides leadership, support, service and essential infrastructure for attracting, enrolling, retaining and graduating a talented and diverse student body. To those ends, SAEM provides the following: comprehensive recruitment initiatives and holistic admissions; strategically packaged student aid coupled with financial education and services; high-quality communications to students, their families; high quality student engagement activities; psychology counseling and health services; civic engagement and leadership opportunities, and self-service tools for student support services.
